Interpath Labs is a trusted provider of medical lab testing in the Northwest. They trusted their new branding and website to Artmil.

It all started with a potential brand refresh: we were approached about a redesign of the brand identity for Interpath labs, which we took on. But, as happens with many of our clients, Interpath realized that slapping a new logo on everything wasn’t going to be enough to update everything that needed done across all of their touch points with the public. Soon, discussion on a new website began and we jumped at the opportunity.

One concern that was expressed early on was that clinics & hospitals needed an easier way to quickly locate lab tests in their directory, which has a total of almost 1,100 different lab tests and was previously a printed manual that was sent out each year. We custom built an online Lab Test Directory that pulls data from their internal system and syncs up regularly so that providers can always have the very latest information at their fingertips.

WHAT WE DID:

Lab test information available at your provider’s fingertips.

When diagnosing a patient, the last thing a provider wants to do is thumb through an 1,100 page manual to find the right test for the patient in front of her. That’s why creating an online lab test directory was a crucial cornerstone of this website overhaul.

Interpath wanted their lab tests to be searchable both alphabetically and by lab test number, with even partial matches showing up. So, for example, if you were searching for test 2467 – Influenza A/B (Rapid) but couldn’t remember the number, you could simply type something like “flu” or “A/B” and you would see it pop up in a list of options below the search bar; if you remember it was test number “2…4…something-or-other”, you could type in “24” and all tests that have 24 in the name will pop up (including the test you’re looking for). It makes searching for the information you need incredibly easy.

The custom coding of this took some time and planning, but the investment there was far more cost-effective than sending out hundreds of printed paper manuals every year, and sending out supplemental edits when necessary. Our lab test directory is updated regularly, so that the very latest information is always available.

As part of our branding overhaul, we helped design new artwork for their fleet of Honda Fit and various minivans. We are able to produce vehicle liveries to match up with a brand, and love the opportunity to translate what we have digitally and on paper into the realm of vehicles, as well.

You can get directions from your home to any location, as well as see that specific location’s business hours at a glance. The map was also fully themed to match the white, gray, and red used throughout the site, ensuring that it felt natural and not out of place.
