J. Bookwalter Winery

A world-reknown winery, right in our backyard.

Located at the center of Washington Wine Country, Bookwalter has long been a top destination for wine lovers from all over the globe.

Beginning their “storied” history in the Tri-Cities in 1982, J. Bookwalter Winery has been a trendsetter among wineries regionally, winning awards for their outstanding products and ever-expanding offerings. Their flagship tasting room in Richland — which now boasts a full-service restaurant, Fiction — was named one of the top tasting rooms in the United States by Sunset Magazine, and features live music on weekends and great food 7 days a week.

When John Bookwalter took over operations for the winery in 1997, he introduced sweeping changes to improve and expand the Bookwalter brand — and since 2003, Bookwalter has relied on Artmil to assist them in that mission.

Shimmer and shine.

When Bookwalter comes out with a new wine, we have the distinct honor of photographing the bottles and preparing imagery for use in future campaigns. We utilize our very own product photo lightroom to create a final image that is stunning, sleek, and sharp.

Simple, yet striking.

Our approach for our work with Bookwalter is to keep things simple: a deep red, a bold black, and a bright white naturally find their way into nearly every piece we do for them.

In addition to photographing their wine bottles for various displays, we have also created gift cards, brochures, stationery, bookmarks, and even a wine case in the shape of a book — the latter two projects winning Artmil multiple ADDY Awards.
