EPHA Inc.

Simple but effective products deserve simple but effective marketing.

A nationally known brand from Oregon went “next level” with a little help from Artmil.

A cover that keeps your engine’s hoses (or hoses around the shop) from tearing due to friction; a simple cover that keeps your car’s battery cables (or other electrical cables) from electrocuting your mechanic or an electrician; a plastic guard that keeps you from stepping on the dreaded and oft-worried-about top step of a ladder…these are all products that EPHA, Incorporated — based in Hermiston, Oregon — touts among it’s top sellers.

With regular placement in national auto parts and hardware stores, EPHA’s products keep you protected and organized, and save you money. And when EPHA needed to get the word out about what they had invented and get it into stores nationwide, they trusted Artmil to meet their needs.

Put a face to a name.

The original product that EPHA produced was an orange hose protector; its distinct color and shape led us to create the original “EPHA Man,” a cartoon illustration that projected friendliness, strength, and helpfulness at a glance. Even though they’ve come out with other products in the years since, the logo remains the cornerstone of their branding.

On paper and online.

Our work with EPHA began in 2006 with branding & identity, product packaging, sales brochures, vehicle wraps, uniforms, and more. In Summer 2016, we took on, developed, and launched a new website to replace an old Flash-based, non-responsive website that they had been using since the early days.
